As you would have read in my ‘Young Gun’ articles, people are drawn to a particular car for a certain reason. The reasons are often varied but nostalgia seems to be the common thread when it comes to classic-car ownership. I strongly believe that cars, like people, have personalities, and like people some vehicles will have lived pampered lives – perhaps being used sparingly for special occasions, possibly having been in the one family for generations or being freshly rebuilt to a better condition than when it left the factory new.
